I visited Dick’s a couple weeks ago to order a bosu ball which I used in my Physical Therapy sessions. I was assisted by staff ordering on their computer. I received my bosu ball in a few days and love it. I needed help during these COVID time staying active and flexible. Thanks Dick’s for your assistance and I love my Bosu Ball
I ordered sneakers online. They arrived in about 2 days. They were a little small, so I filled out the return online and brought them to a local store to return. The initial delivery of the sneaks and the refund to my credit card came faster than any purchase/return I've made in years, all during the pandemic. Hats off!

My partner and I have been waiting on a kayak since middle of May and the pilot company who works with $#*!'s Sporting goods and handles freight shipping said our kayak should be here over a week ago and when we called to check they said once it gets to this location another shipping company will call us and we have yet to receive any calls even though it's been at the location since our expected delivery date. Over a week ago. But we called $#*!s and they are returning the 250 shipping fee and going to call to figure out where our kayak is. Very grateful they are doing something about the issue
Dick's is one of last sporting goods stores to survive. Maybe because they bought out all their competitors. First it was Galyans, then Sports Authority and who's next? Their prices are very high and their inventory is shrinking. I know this pandemic has caused havoc with supply, but they don't have much and the eliminated hunting dept altogether. I hope Academy Sports hangs in there
I recently bought a punching bag with frame from a Sporting Goods store at Mayfaire in Wilmington, NC. I had No idea of what I really needed and Mike Awesome, the sales rep, went above and beyond to assist me with all my questions as well as getting my products loaded in my car, which was a test since I had driven my small car that day. It is such a pleasure going into a store and having someone genuinely act concerned with my needs and not feel like we, the customer, are putting someone out when asking for assistance. I hope This Sporting Goods store realizes what a valuable employee they have with Mike and he is recognized for his customer service. Wanda Batts
I went to exchange a crossbow I’d purchased at your store in Jefferson Valley, NY and Alison was the absolute epitome of fantastic customer service. Prior to my current career, I managed a Home Depot for 5 years and never had an associate half as pleasant, courteous and professional as Alison was throughout my most recent experience at your sporting goods store. {I tried to include the name of your store but got flagged for inappropriate language}. She immediately took care of everything and I cannot say enough about how wonderful she was.
5 stars plus and I will not go anywhere else if your store in Jefferson Valley is an option.

Wow, I see a lot of bad reviews. I haven't had the same problems as what I'm reading. I had a 3 experience. I found the cleats I wanted and the guy who helped was cool and there's a lot to choose from so I left happy. Not bad not super special. Just good.

Always been one of my fav. places to buy tennis gear, prices are OK but compared to tennis-warehouse it is a bit more expensive.
I heard Dick's Sporting Goods had a good selection of products. It seemed like an independent American business. They have their own plus size sports clothes, including leggings with pockets.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience with their website and 800 number trying to buy something.
The item I was interested in had a two inch gap in hip measurements between one size and the next. I've never seen that before. My measurement was in the gap.
Their reviews of this product state that all the reviewers received an incentive to post their reviews. I'm grateful to know that, but it also made me question their ethics.
This item does not have a stock number for reference. It was late their time. I could not find an email for customer service.
It wasnt that easy, but I found their 800 number on the website. They list no stated hours for the number. I called after 10 pm their time on a Friday.
My call was answered and by an American. However, she knew very little about the stock. She wasn't very helpful in answering my questions or adressing my upset with the size gap. She kept saying that they "weren't personal shoppers who put the company's clothes on people." Normally customer service workers at a company know more about the products than she did, although they are not "personal shoppers." Eventually I asked if she was answering the phone for multiple companies. She said she "didn't see the relevance."
If Dick's Sporting Goods has people answering their 800 number who don't really work for them, let customers know. Let us know during which hours that happens. Let us know what they can and cannot do for us. Take orders? Help us lower our expectations.
It's not necessarily bad to have outsiders taking phone orders late at night on a weekend. It is bad to make us think they are regular employees.
Because of all this I looked at Dick's BBB page, which was alarming, although perhaps some reviews are fake?
I would like to thank Steve an associate at the store in Berlin tpk ct. Steve went above and beyond to help me select a pair of binoculars Steve took the time I needed to make a selection thank you Steve for your help and great service... I recommend that store to anyone who will like good service. God bless. Angel.
I have been going to the D***'s in Dothan Al for over 5 years. It's my Go-to place for all of my sons football equipment, clothing, shoes etc... The employees are always over the top helpful and nice, which makes a difference. I recently had to order his shoulder pads online due to size issue. Long story short i was sent wrong size, toothed out was some kind of catalog error with youth and varsity. So after getting mixed help on the phone with customer service i decided to call the store because i all had to re order them again. Needless to say store manager Lee and his team today we so helpful and made sure i left completely satisfied and with exact product i needed! I recommend D***'s sporting goods in Dothan door all your kids spring good needs. They always make sure you get what you need! Thanks Lee and team !!
